Ken brings a mix of both public and private accounting experience to his current role as CFO. He has held many different positions with greater responsibility over time in both public and private industry throughout his career.
Ken holds a Rhode Island CPA license that he obtained in 2012. He also holds the CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) designation. He received both a bachelor and master’s degree in accounting from Rhode Island College. Ken also completed an executive management certificate from MIT. He has been a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants since 2012.

Jen earned her Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University in 2004. She joined the Small Steps team in November of 2019 and is excited to work with you and your family to manage any billing and administrative needs and assist in helping you understand the complexities of your insurance plan. In her free time Jen enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband as well as her family and friends, reading, running, traveling and being outdoors especially at the beach. Jen looks forward to working with you and your family.

After working in a wide range of industries Derrick joined the Small Steps team in 2021. With a background in both service and sales, Derrick provides an awareness of what is expected and the aptitude to complete varied tasks. Professionalism and compassion are an important combination to Derrick as is being supportive to all the providers and helping family's billing and administrative needs. Derrick is a proud husband, father, brother and son. Derrick loves traveling, sports, a good hiking trail and an even better debate. Derrick looks forward to working with you and providing the best service possible.

Haley recently finished a career as a student-athlete at Wheaton College with a degree in psychology. She has loved helping in all areas of the clinic while working towards the process of earning her master’s degree. She joined Small Steps in June of 2021 as an intern, and now works as our administrative assistant. Haley has been able to learn so much about the field of speech pathology to prepare her for a future as an SLP. Outside of work and school, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and playing volleyball.
